Jeff Garrett serves as the pulpit minister for our church. He enjoys preaching, teaching, leading, visiting, and counseling. Jeff received a B.A. in Religious Education from David Lipscomb University, a M.A. in Counseling at Marshall University, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education at Ohio University. He teaches courses in Counseling as an adjunct professor at Marshall University. Jeff and his wife Kim have three children. |

George Welty serves
the Norway body as youth minister. His background is
in education having worked with young people the past twelve years.
George provides opportunities for his youth group to serve the
Huntington
community as well as people in Arizona and Mexico. He seeks to
create community and family within his youth ministry. |

Jay Barrow works on
the campus of Marshall University as campus minister. Jay moved
to Huntington from Tuscaloosa Alabama. He offers the Marshall students
a friend, mentor, and spiritual guidance counselor. His passion
is in reaching the campus with the saving message of Jesus by leading
them in a life of prayer, worship, and service. |

Matt Hayes serves
the Norway Avenue Church as Worship Minister. His heart for God
and passion for worship are poured out as he leads our Assembly
in lifting up God through song. Matt works with a group of singers
each week to enhance and bless the Norway Avenue Church. His humble
spirit and strong voice exhibit the spirit of Christ living within
him. Matt is a man after God’s
own heart. |
